Becoming a new line manager is a big step in an individual’s career and therefore our Management development programme, enables them to develop the skills and capabilities required to be confident and successful in their role as people managers.
This CPD accredited programme is aimed primarily at first line managers within the same organisation, those new to people management or those that have had little formal development in this area.
We take a flexible modular approach to building people management capabilities, underpinned by a clear People Untapped management capabilities framework.
The focus areas for the programme are:-
The programme is delivered live in cohorts (usually around 12 delegates) and can be run virtually (over 12 x 3-hour modules) or face-to-face over 6 x 1 day workshops. The programme includes a number of diagnostics to support participants track their development progress and also includes feedback from direct reports/peers, a Team Management Systems preference profile and access to a blended learning platform to support the learning journey.
We can also supplement the programme for alumni or more experienced managers with stand-alone masterclasses in key people management topics, e.g. Coaching & Mentoring Skills, Goal-Setting, Feedback, Supporting Career Development, Managing Change, Driving & Taking Accountability, Managing a Remote or Hybrid team. We also have an “Introduction to Management” as a taster for those that are due to be appointed into their first management role.
