Work history

Xavier has a deep professional background in telecoms, having worked in research and development for Orange Labs (French Telecom) before moving to Swisscom. At Swisscom, Xavier help a number of roles, from technical Enterprise Architecture Team Leader, to Business Innovation Director and Strategic Change Management. He currently splits his time between working for Swisscom as the designer and facilitator of their Human-Centered Leadership program (500+ participants since 2014) for product managers and team leaders, internal change management and innovation consulting, with independent coaching and innovation facilitation outside of Swisscom.

Xavier routinely delivers 1:1 Coaching for Executives, Entrepreneurs, and Managers in Western Europe, China, U.A.E. & USA. He co-facilitates Experiential Workshops in Europe for Team Development, Leadership Development and Innovation Leadership in the fields on Innovation, Change Management and Agile Leadership. He was worked with clients such as Google, eBay, Roche, the European Investment Bank, FIFA, Global fund, Georg Fischer.

In addition, Xavier provides experiential teaching as Guest Professor and Speaker of Innovation Leadership & Managerial Leadership at Ecole des Ponts Business School MBA (France), Master in Organization Development & Culture at University St Gallen (Switzerland) and Master in Quality & Strategy Management at Universite des Hautes Etudes du Valais (Switzerland)

Consulting, coaching and facilitation approach

Xavier’s facilitation techniques follow the influence of CTI, design thinking and change management/team transformation techniques. His facilitation relies on two pillars: edutainment and deep inner work. I always come to a facilitation room with an intent of deep transformation for everyone in the room. He pays great attention to the energy of the room and is comfortable to change the workshop content on the fly and improvise for the sake of learning, growth and ultimately value for team members. He enjoys holding a diverse mix of cultures and backgrounds in the room.

Xavier’s style is aligned primarily with co-active leadership coaching with some elements of design thinking and systemic coaching. He takes confidentiality extremely seriously as well as safety and integrity. Xavier views every client as creative, resourceful and whole: he believes they have the answers they seek in themselves and that it is his job is to uncover them.

Xavier coaches Leaders with energy, compassion and challenge, viewing the client as “bigger” than they hold themselves. He aspires to deliver enjoyable coaching and utilizes a sense of daring to make sure that the relationship doesn’t become complacent.

When coaching, Xavier looks beyond the day to day topics and aims to help the client from a “big picture” perspective.
