Work history

Lizzie Pawsey is an experienced business leader, facilitator, coach and coach supervisor. She brings 20 years’ previous work experience in several global organisations, including Diageo, Britvic and Pernod Ricard, where she worked in several senior marketing and HR leadership roles. Her approach is therefore grounded in the commercial world – she understands the challenges of working in global cross-cultural organisations, leading teams of people through change and delivering against a business plan.

Lizzie has over 1800 hours of coaching experience. She works with board, executive and senior leaders both one to one and in teams and groups to support them to effectively lead themselves, lead others and lead their business. Typical areas that her clients explore with her include identifying purpose and values, developing authentic leadership style, enhancing executive presence and confidence, female leadership, managing personal and professional change, building resilience, developing effective stakeholder relationships, influencing others and dealing with conflict.

Lizzie has also gained over 2000 hours of facilitation experience working on various global programmes supporting leaders to develop as leaders, build interpersonal skills and coaching skills. She is faculty on global leadership development programmes of several clients and serves as an associate faculty member for the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) on their Coaching Skills Certificate and Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching programmes.

Consulting, coaching and facilitation approach

Lizzie builds strong and trusting relationships with her clients and offer a safe space within which they can think freely, explore their limiting mind sets and focus on their strengths. Her style is professional, warm and supportive, combined with challenge and tenacity to enable them to achieve their goals and create sustainable change. She uses several models and frameworks from her business and coaching careers such as TA, CBC, Gestalt, Solutions Focus and Neuroscience.

Lizzie’s facilitation style is pragmatic, warm, open, energetic, flexible and adaptable. She has a good understanding of group dynamics and adult learning theory and can respond in the moment to the needs of the group. Lizzie works in an active and experiential way with groups to help them to embed their learning and make it relevant to their work. She has worked with groups ranging in size from 3 to 30 and has delivered programmes alone and as part of a wider faculty team. She is fully proficient and comfortable working online with Zoom and MS Teams
