Leona draws from a corporate experience of 18 years including senior leadership roles in financial services and frontline operations (Insurance Australia Group) where she managed people strategy, built and delivered high performance culture via KPI/Scorecard management and introduction of continuous improvements via benchmarking. Leona also participated and delivered in various corporate projects to ensure delivery of organizational purpose and strategy.
Leona followed her passion and left her corporate appointment in 2007 to become a full time executive coach and facilitator. Leona has been delivering leadership workshops using a coaching approach for multi-national companies in Australia, China, India, Singapore, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Leona’s expertise and key interests focus around Energizing for High Performance; Motivation and Competencies Development; Coaching Approach & Facilitative Leadership; Value, Beliefs and Vision Clarification; and Transformative Coaching for Sustainable Results.
She has facilitated and coached (emerging leaders to C-Suite executives) across the following industries: Banking, Insurance, Retail, Logistics, Public Utilities, Pharmaceutical and Technology, having coached over 500 clients.
Leona works to flex her coaching style to suit her client and their needs. Her coaching methodology aligns with the International Coaching Federation Core Competencies, and she uses inside out coaching approach and the “Awareness, Clarity & Choice” model to facilitate sustainable positive change for her coaching clients.
When working as a team coach, she will first contract with the team to ensure they are working under the same norm and objective(s), then she utilises the team’s interaction to move them along the coaching process to reach commitment from their learning.
