Work history

Katy has a diverse background having worked in Financial Services, ICT and Retail.   She has led multiple process improvement initiatives as well as managing a busy ICT Service Desk for a global fashion retailer.  Her passion for developing people saw her transition from IT to Learning & Development, where she initially used her customer engagement skills to drive service uptake and encourage efficient working practices. Widening her experience, she helped introduce comprehensive learning programmes to satisfy both the growing needs of the business and colleague personal development goals.  Ever mindful of the changing learning environment, she was instrumental in bringing digital learning to the fore and removing barriers to when and where learning should take place. 

Consulting, coaching and facilitation approach

Katy’s passion for employee wellbeing is demonstrated in her gentle and encouraging approach to facilitation.  She strives to create a secure environment in which learners gain confidence to ‘step out ’and explore the possible, whilst all the time relating content back to real world experiences.

Katy is responsible for supporting on key projects, ensuring that People Untapped can continue to grow their offering and provide gold standard services.  Engaging with stakeholders, she spotlights the deliverables and motivates contributors towards shared success.  Highly detail oriented, Katy ensures organisation and quality are at the heart of everything she is involved in.
