Work history

Katy has extensive experience in international business, team, and stakeholder management, in a variety of sectors. With 16 years’ experience as a director and co-owner of a creative communications and events agency Katy has worked extensively with many FTSE100 clients. In this role she was responsible for engaging with senior stakeholders to develop strategies and complex global engagement campaigns and experiences.

Having worked in, and led, SMEs in the creative sector, for over 20 years (specifically live events, communications, and engagement) Katy is well versed in the commercial and people pressures of the entrepreneurial, fast paced and high-pressured environments. She brings this wealth of experience of leading a business and helping teams to thrive to all aspects of her work and coaching.

Consulting, coaching and facilitation approach

Katy’s passion and specialism is in coaching leaders and emerging leaders in SMEs, independent businesses and start ups across a range of sectors, to help them grow and thrive.

She also coaches individuals to achieve their goals by supporting them to make changes in their life, business or career, improve performance, enhance their relationships with others or develop specific skills, such as, resilience, communication, confidence, empathy and self awareness.

Katy’s approach has been described as “deeply empathetic with a healthy dose of challenge”. She has a strong belief in the potential of people and a desire to help individuals and teams unlock their potential.

She facilitates leaders to connect with their personal values and style of leadership, to develop their resilience and that of their teams, creating cultures where deep collaboration, trust and healthy challenge flourish.

Katy has a holistic and collaborative coaching style and uses a mix of reflective and challenging coaching techniques in the coaching  journey with her clients.
