Work history

Jon has worked in learning and development for over 24 years in local, regional, and global roles ranging from standalone consultant roles in B2B to global senior manager roles managing a team of 28 globally placed business partners and designers in diverse matrixed organisations. Jon has a wealth of experience across several market sectors including travel, financial services, utilities, FMCG and retail (luxury and high St).

Holding both business partner and senior manager roles within large matrixed organisations, Jon has extensive experience using his consulting skills to understand the needs of the business and how they translate into people development strategy and solutions. He has successfully designed and implemented full scale organisational change programmes from scratch, embedding learning functions to drive a learning culture and delivering the full breadth of learning solutions from individual skills-based learning to full development programmes to support personal development, talent programmes and full-scale organisational change programmes both on and offline.

Consulting, coaching and facilitation approach

Jon is a highly energetic trainer and facilitator that injects his real-life experience into session content to bring it to life, successfully integrating models and theories which offer a pragmatic approach which allows for an understanding of the challenges

people face in day to day working situations.

Jon is experienced both as a standalone coach and mentor, and also as part of large organisation wide development programmes where he has coached executives through to key contributors.

With the use of psychometric tools and simple coaching techniques Jon has developed his own personal coaching style which creates a safe and comfortable space for his clients whilst maintaining a high level of inquisitiveness to understand the context of a business or situation to enable him to question the client in order to support development and growth
