Helen has a very accomplished and wide HR background having had over 16 years’ experience in HR Business Leadership, Talent Management and Leadership and Organisational Development. She has extensive global experience and has held senior positions both in the UK and overseas. She has worked across a broad range of business areas, including Manufacturing, Commercial (Pharmaceuticals and FMCG) and global corporate positions. She works across multiple sectors as an Executive Coach, Leadership Development Consultant and Trainer having set up People Untapped in 2011 as a business focused entirely on the development of people, teams and organisations.
She is described as very business orientated and pragmatic due to her scientific and commercial orientation, combined with her experience working directly as a line leader and business partner. She is passionate about leadership and culture development within the workplace, and has a proven track record in building sustainable people management and development capabilities in leaders and in leading major change.
Helen’s facilitation style is clear, focused and with a highly engaging energy level. She draws on her experience to share and bring to life the key needs of the group. She is adept at designing interventions, including designing exercises ‘in-the-moment’ that will address a group’s specific needs.
In her coaching, Helen looks to understand the business and individual context quickly, and is able to quickly build relationships with her coaching clients to provide quick focus to their thinking. She believes in working in close partnership with clients and their organisation to be clear on coaching goals. Her coaching style is practical and results focused, and draws upon her extensive understanding of how large organisations work and the critical leadership behaviours that drive high performing organisations and individual success. She will give clear feedback on her observations to her coaches.
Helen looks to realise the potential that individuals and teams possess by increasing their self-awareness and understanding of how their approach to their work and others around them impacts upon their success.
