Gillian has over 20 years’ experience working in global FTSE 10 Pharmaceutical companies (GSK and ViiV Healthcare) as a HR Business Partner (Director), supporting diverse manufacturing, commercial, medical, R&D, Head office and support organisations. During this time, Gillian has led HR teams and partnered and coached senior leaders and Executive members around the world at all levels of the organisation from emerging talent, those in career transition and senior executives.
She has led global business transformation, business integration and organisation design projects along with having been instrumental in the HR leadership of talent development programmes and culture/engagement programmes.
In addition, and integral to her HR roles, Gillian worked as an internal coach within GlaxoSmithKline, coaching leaders and key talent.
Since leaving her corporate role in 2019, Gillian has worked with a variety of organisations, including start-ups, Government Departments, SMEs and large corporate organisations as an Executive Coach and Leadership Development Trainer, both in the UK and around the world.
Gillian has a relaxed, supportive, engaging and curious style with an appropriate level of challenge, which is based on a foundation of care for her coaching clients.
When coaching she seeks to consider what is going on for her clients at a holistic level. Her calm and centred approach helps to create a safe, non-judgmental space to enable individuals to clarify their goals, work and explore what is going on for them and enable them to unlock their potential and find their solutions to drive action.
Gillian is effective working both face to face and remotely with her clients.
Gillian describes her training and facilitation style as one which creates energy, engagement, is interactive and is flexible to respond to what is going on in the room.
