Francesca Romana - People Untapped

Work history

Francesca has a strong background in organisational behaviour and coaching for leadership development. She began in 1992 in Rome, then moved to Brussels and Milan, working in coaching (focusing on all levels of leadership), facilitation (of teams and leadership cohorts) and consulting (organisation and leadership development). Since 2008 she has been working with individuals, teams and groups to create exceptional results through increased awareness, enhanced capabilities and increased personal impact.

She has worked for 15 years as a specialist and senior consultant in Centro Elis in Rome, Cefriel Politecnico di Milano where she was Education Lab’s – responsible for the designing and providing of a professionally skilled workforce for the ICT sector. This involved the continuous interaction with the industrial partners, HR staff, Academic and Research Bodies.

Francesca has written for many publications, and she is also working for Graduate School of Management POLITECNICO DI MILANO –and LUISS Business School – Rome. 

Francesca also leads a Voluntary Social Project called “Liberi Dentro” since 2017 in a Prison in Milan called San Vittore involving 30 people and more than 200 prisoners.   She has a passion for Arts in general, she loves to watch movies, take pictures with her camera, painting and also has a passion for any kind of sports (skiing, running, tennis).

Consulting, coaching and facilitation approach

Francesca is an experienced consultant-coach (1993- present) working with large organisations. She has amassed over 5000 hours of team and individual coaching. She has a particular focus on developing Emotional Intelligence, renewing relationships and sustaining business effectiveness to support truly resonant leadership. She believes that best leaders move people. They engage people’s hearts and minds and help direct energy, individually and collectively, toward a desired outcome.

Her clients enjoy her coaching approach as it is very focused both on being more mindful and on practical problem-solving combining emotional-intelligence and competence. The approach she uses helps people to have a basis for inspiration, to explore their own leadership, explore his/her own immunity-to-change-system, engage in dialogue, challenge others, and create new conditions to manage their changes.

She is happy coaching executives, senior managers, ‘high potentials’, line managers and HR personnel. She is a strong supporter of emotional intelligence as an indicator of authentic leadership and good organisational behaviours within a business environment. Her clients appreciate her challenging and supportive style and see clearly that she is very passionate.
