Prior to becoming a coach, Dulcie worked for over 20 years in a FTSE 100/250 environment for Bass Plc, holding a variety of senior roles in Operations, Commercial and Brand Development before moving into HR, where she held many hands-on leadership roles, with large and diverse teams. Roles included Head of Corporate HR with a remit covering ER, L&D and Recruitment, where she led the HR, reward, and contractual side of the de-merger from Intercontinental Hotels; and Head of L&D and Head of Retail HR for London. (Dulcie continues to run the Leadership Development Programme for Retail Graduates.)

Dulcie loves to work with a wide range of coachee’s and teams, and has come to specialise in Imposter Thinking, frequently having the opportunity to speak about this publicly. Dulcie has spent 15 + years developing graduates on Young Leader and graduate courses as well as running training courses in human productivity and effective behaviour for Execs right through to Apprentices. Whether Dulcie is facilitating, training or coaching, she aims to bring her knowledge of business and science together to create a safe, straight-talking space where failure is a learning opportunity; not being the finished article is positively encouraged; and fantastic results are the norm.
She has facilitated dysfunctional teams and helped them to perform. She particularly enjoys bringing her experiences together to train line managers and leaders to coach and ,to use behavioural science to grow their own teams and generate better business results.
With Team Coaching, Dulcie specialises is using psychometrics, direct and honest feedback (including her own 360), behavioural science, and simple working/ meeting principles to help teams to engage and work more effectively with one another
Dulcie is possibly the only Fellow of the CIPD, to have an MBA and be a qualified nightclub bouncer, and she believes that it is this and the combination of commercial roles, inside and outside HR in a FTSE 100/250 environment and her deep knowledge of neuroscience, biology and psychology that allows the combination of those experiences to bring something different and compelling to clients. Dulcie has also worked as a Non-Exec using her broader business knowledge as a mentor; and has worked as a Business Mentor/Coach with the Government Sponsored Growth Accelerator Programme
