Dave has extensive experience in leading teams within multinational corporates as well as delivering learning and development solutions to small tech start up’s and gaming companies, through to large global IT companies.
He has over 8 years of leadership experience during which he has held a variety of roles encompassing, managing leaders, staff, departments, and projects. Dave’s varied leadership encompasses a Global Operations role where he was responsible for managing teams both in the UK and remotely with a remit to build, develop and onboard a new customer services team.
In the last 7 years Dave has been working and applying his expert knowledge, skills and experience within the Learning and Development space. During this time he has delivered 2 different Learning Management Systems (LMS) into several businesses, based on their needs and requirements. Dave has also been responsible for designing and delivering award winning learning programmes. In addition to this he has designed and facilitated various onboarding, apprenticeship and leadership development programmes.
When coaching Dave is able to quickly build rapport and form strong relationships with client from the foundation session onwards. Honesty and authenticity are hugely important, and he creates a safe space for the client where they feel they are listened too, supported and encouraged. His sessions are fun and action packed and Dave works to build colourful and creative coaching offerings. Tailoring each session to suit the client he uses several approaches in his delivery including coaching through play (LEGO Serious Play) and Insights Discovery as well as the ICF’s core competency framework.
Dave has delivered coaching to not for profit organisations including healthcare and education as well as large national corporates. He enjoy’s helping people overcome confidence issues and plan the next step in their career as well as looking at business specific problems that may be blocking them from their next big success
In team sessions Dave’s approach is casual and collaborative. He ensures the sessions are interactive, engaging, and inclusive. A hands-on approach using breakouts and activities significantly increases engagement within the session and helps to embed the learning.
