Angela has over 25 years pharmaceutical research and development experience with the global pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). She held numerous positions of increasing responsibility including antibacterial research, project leadership and management, and clinical development roles in infectious diseases. As a leader (vice president) of clinical operations she led a global team to partner and deliver 7 new HIV and antibacterial medicines.
Throughout her time there she was passionate about developing people and was an active line manager, coach, mentor, and facilitator and in her final role she was Head of Capability and Education in Clinical Operations. After leading numerous sessions on resilience and change management, she became a certified Gallup Strengths coach in 2018 and facilitated over 90 Clifton Strengths workshops for teams and coached individuals across R&D.
She left her corporate role in 2021 to focus on Strengths coaching and has delivered Clifton Strengths workshops with teams in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across the US and globally, with local non-profit organizations, and has coached individuals across various industries.
Angela brings a strategic, creative, and collaborative approach, working with leaders to design sessions that maximize engagement and value for each team. In highly organized team workshops, she creates impact by revealing key strengths, complementary skills, and opportunities for driving enhanced communication, engagement, trust, and performance.
Angela conducts her sessions with a professional, yet light-hearted and empathetic manner and her warmth and engagement are evident in both virtual and in-person sessions. She brings great energy and enthusiasm, motivating different people into the discussion and easily weaving key messages into the learning that inspires a true sense of optimism and positivity.
Through her own deep knowledge of Strengths and her personal experience working with many teams and individuals, she enables you to see your strengths and gifts in a new light and uses creative application tools that can be used in both professional and personal life.
