Angela has had a 30-year career in the Pharmaceutical Industry. She has experience of senior leadership roles across a variety of operational and technical functions within the drug development space. Angela is equally comfortable in both linear and complex matrix environments and has successfully worked in global Pharmaceutical companies, the third sector, commercial stage biopharmaceutical organizations and strategically focused specialist service providers.
Early in her career, Angela also established and managed clinical trial units in the North West, providing opportunities for women to participate in research.
Angela is described as a truly authentic leader who has put people at the heart of the organizations she has worked with. She has led through large-scale organizational transformations, periods of rapid growth and the implementation of business critical technologies. Angela has a deep understanding of the challenges of leadership, and the importance of transparency and ethical practice as a foundation from which to operate.
Additionally Angela provides pro bono ‘user experience’ support for a start up destination website and is involved in the formation of their emerging strategy for social impact.
Angela is quick to establish rapport and trust with her clients. She brings honesty and intuition to the coaching engagement, which allows her to walk with clients as an equal partner. Angela holds a confidential, non-judgemental ’sanctuary’ space for clients to explore ideas, do their best thinking and to confidently take action. She brings energy, natural warmth and an adventurous spirit to her practice which has delivered coaching to individuals in the financial sector, education, motor trade, property investment, biotech start-ups and Pharma.
