Alex is an experienced team and executive coach, and business psychologist. He specialises in working with Founders, CxOs and leadership teams in young entrepreneurial organisations with significant growth prospects.
In his own words, here is how being coached by Alex is different:
We work with the dark side of growth – role-modelling great leadership when times are tough, taking bold business decisions, dealing with miss-alignment and messiness in teams, dealing with conflict, having difficult conversations.
Alex brings over 13 years of international business and organisational experience across Europe and the US. He has held a range of leadership development and learning consultancy roles in global organisations, having lived and worked in four countries.
He was formerly the Leadership Development Manager for Vodafone Group in London, UK. In his role, he managed the design and deployment of global leadership development programmes, high potential programmes and coaching culture strategy. He was on the Board for The Association for Professional Executive Coaching and Supervision (APECS) and is now a member of the Disruptive Tech Working Group of the Future of Coaching Collaboration (FCC).
Alex’s approach is to work alongside his clients, as a trusted thinking partner. As individuals and teams are unique, he works with each of them to design bespoke interventions to release their innate abilities. Clients fully benefit from a safe and confidential space to open up, reflect on their key growth questions and opportunities, gain insights, and move forward into action with clarity and confidence. This enables them to achieve and sustain improved business results, create value for themselves and their stakeholders.
Clients describe Alex as having a calming presence, bringing to work a mix of curiosity, creativity and humour, combined with structure, clarity and precision. He is comfortable to work around the edges in complex and non-linear contexts. He names the unspoken tactfully and holds the space to enable brave and supportive conversations.
